Editable Crosswalks

It would be tremendously helpful if one could set additional crosswalks and/or pedestrian-trafficlights at any given place.
It's just not realistic to build skywalks all the time.

I know the workarounds like switching road-types, but they aren't really satisfying and kind of mess up existing street-designs.

It also would be nice to make them deletable.

Yeah, it's a luxury problem. But what in videogames is not

Definitely like this one.

When I have a longer road and I place a train station half way and on the other side of the street a metro station my cims now have to walk to the end of the street, cross the road and walk back the entire distance just to get to the metro station across the street. I don't like to use a pedestrian bridge for this or to alter the type of road half way.

You get a cross walk each time you change type of road, like regular to grass lined road will give cross walk. Or any change of road type.

But it's a workaround. Kind of clumsy too. Why not just make it a thing.
