Edisanas/Yedisan starts in 1444 as part of Lithuania. The capital of the province is listed as Hajibey; predecessor to Odessa and a Lithuanian fort. This part is accurate, yes, but one of the biggest cities within the borders of Edisanas/Yedisan province belonged to Moldavia, not Lithuania, in 1444.

I am talking about the fortress and port now known as Ochakov, back then known as Vozia in Romanian, Lerici in Italian/Genoese, and Ozu-Cale/Kara-Kerman in Turkish.

The fortress was founded by the Genoese, but became part of the Moldavian realm after the colonists became Moldavian vassals in order to receive protection from Tatar raids some decades before the game's start date. Some time afterwards, relations soured between the colonists and the Moldavian boyars, and direct rule from Moldavia was established in 1455 when the fortress was invaded by pirates for the Moldavian voivode.

The Moldavians didn't lose the fortress until 1492, when the Crimean Khanate took it over.

Thus, I suggest that Edisanas/Yedisan be split, with the eastern portion of the province becoming part of Moldavia and being controlled by the merchants estate, to simulate the genoese presence in the city. While owned by Moldavia, it may also be a genoese core to represent the eventual breakdown of relations between the Moldavians and the colonists.
