So this isn't a very obvious thing, and I can see how it was overlooked (or at least not prioritized), but I got an event which gave me 100 consumer goods (can't remember which one, but it wasn't bunker bot), and I can't even trade it away, so it's just... sitting there.

And then I got the event on a toxic world with a bunch of robots. It gives 6 engineering on the planet and an edict that gives -10% consumer goods upkeep, and increased research speed to materials and industry (I can't find the name of it on the wiki), but I'm a machine empire. I don't use consumer goods. The research speed is nice, but one of its effects are useless.

Are there any other edicts or event awards that should be tweaked based on empire type to be more useful?

EDIT: I haven't come across this yet, but if you get the Limbo event as an ME, can you automatically bring them back into the fold (even if you find them in the first 10 years or something), or can you not for whatever reason?
