I respect the party but I do not respect Madame Savarin. I appreciate the fact our party will gain from this, but I cannot vote for a Savarin!

The chief of which today is the Socialist Presidential candidate Jean "did he just say that?" di Picardie and his magically ability to create controversy where none needs to be. Now we have just won a war, a very long and debilitating war. If you haven't been living under a rock you know this war was against the fascists, our mortal enemies and the black shadow that plagued us in the form of economic stagnation and shoddy unity governments for a decade. Keep this in mind as you keep reading, and of the hundreds and thousands that have died in said conflict on either side, all of which are Belgian born.
Now the setting we find ourselves in is the 1926 election that has the Conservatives sputtering at their leader, the Bolsheviks paniking at their failure among the voting populace and the NDP happier then a Belgian slave owner. The subject being the words that tumble from di Picardie that should give everyone pause. Well known for his previous support of Communist insurgents in the form of the Red Legion and of the dissolution of civilisation in Africa, di Picardie gave birth to another grammatical monstrosity when he stated "So, vote for [...] even that Fascist man; Lucius Viktor Salvatore."
This statement is either folly of the highest order at best or treason at worst (much like the previous statements of our Prime Minister "Weak Man" van Prinsterer"). Having been outwitted by the Savarinist clique (which given the leadership of the BSU is not that hard), the Bolsheviks have responded by calling wolf ... or at least dictator. This resulted in mirth across the benches, as a dictatorship seems hardily apt in an electoral system. However the words of this deputy, nay this Presidential Candidate and Premier of one of the largest parties in Belgium in calling for people to vote for the fascists, actual dictators that actually want to repress our fine democracy, shows the low character of the BSU. So riled by the wildspread political and personal victories of the Savarinist party, they would rather work with devils and advocate their expansion then work with the oldest voting clique in Belgium.
Are we that corrupted as a political culture? Is it that when it is obvious that one person will win the Presidency that a League of Evil must form ranging from Bolsheviks to Fascists? Are we so doomed that we must become an oligarchy dominated by age old political families rather then have actual competition like is expected? Is the BSU some sort of retarded afterbirth that is puppeted by the Revolutionary Front?
This paper fears for our future dear readers, but what we know is as such: better the devil(ess) you know then the devilish union of evil you don't.

1) The People's Party of Belgium is not a just fascist party, but unites different radical movements and ideologies, among others national communists, national syndicalists and neo-jacobins.
2) The fascist faction of the People's Party is almost unanimously subscribed to the ideas of social fascism which advocates a evolutionary and democratic path to a revolutionary fascist state rather than a violent one.
