Joint Bill of Rights V4: No, I would prefer a system of Civil Law, such along the lines of the Code Napoleon be instituted rather than some basterised scheme of les Anglo-Saxons. I demeans the position of our judiciary and our legislature to do anything else.
De Velde Provision for the Incapability of the Monarch: Abstain; while I do not oppose the sentiment, I feel that the system employed for appointing a regent is too subject to delaying tactics by those disloyal to this Kingdom.

I will, of course, object to any attempt to discriminate or create legal distinctions based on class. We are all Belgians, and any other legal classification is artificial, divisive, and harmful. Class discrimination has been the great folly and failure of the Americas, where there are no republics but instead oppressive and unstable oligarchies, and I will not see it repeated in our glorious homeland.

The laws must be published and available in both languages. How are the people to know the laws if they are not in both languages. I will revise my language proposal to include the Courts as well and re propose for voting.

((Canada has its laws in both English and French see this provision from the British North America Act, 1867, (now called Constitution Act, 1867)

Either the English or the French Language may be used by any Person in the Debates of the Houses of the Parliament of Canada and of the Houses of the Legislature of Quebec; and both those Languages shall be used in the respective Records and Journals of those Houses; and either of those Languages may be used by any Person or in any Pleading or Process in or issuing from any Court of Canada established under this Act, and in or from all or any of the Courts of Quebec.

The Acts of the Parliament of Canada and of the Legislature of Quebec shall be printed and published in both those Languages.
