Okay thanks a lot I will merge it! This mod just focuses on 1933 scenario so no need to merge improvements of later scenarios!
Release date for next version of the mod is something about late November or around 1st-10th december...


and yes I will merge as many mods as possible that´s for sure!

I noticed that things are starting to really grow in here :) I was talking to Jamiroquai about it and thinks that adding the 'Commonwealth Mod' would be a great idea to EoD. Also my AST events from my mod, (though triggerless) would work straight away on top of this great mod for 1933-38 :)

Can you add some battle events for your famous Australia?Im played in WIF with your events,but from 1933 to 38 in AST no events with serious effect,only some dominion elections and air mail events.It will be great if you added battle events in style "Kokoda battle" (as australian patriot,i think you know this grand battle)

sure! Commonwealth and your mod will be integrated. Moreover Í´ve integrated the balkan war mod and franceso´s graphic mod! Now I´m working on getting new pictures for all EoD units so that they look like Fernando´s pics! I have done M and Z special unit for Australia... Maybe I´ll upload a screen today I hope you like what I´ve done.

Very cool!

I was curious, is there anything I could do to help you with releasing the next version? Either beta testing, or maybe some light modding (I'm more familiar with modding HoI3 but I can't imagine Darkest Hour would be that hard to figure out), or something else?

I really enjoyed this mod when I tried it, but I'm waiting for the next version before I do a serious playthrough.

Is simple:

The Original plan for Volkssturm mobilization for third reich,was to recruit 6 million soldiers,but this number never was anchieved,so my suggestion to the volkssturm mobilization event is:

If the Player ,playing as Germany,reaches the maximun extendition of the mobilization,will fire an event with the name as "mobilization of volkssturm",this will give for the player 10 militia,2 dissent and -1 IC.

This same event will fire every moth,giving more 10 militia,2 dissent and -1 IC,this will fire 70 times,every month,to hit the 6 million soldiers

When the player desmobilize,will happen an event: "calling volkssturm back" that will remove all Volkssturm divisions,give it +70 ic efficiency and remove 10 IC

What do you think?

Could idea... I think that will be integrated in 1.03...Although we will only enable this after USSR is comming close to Berlin

I do not know....What do you think about the two situations?If the soviets or allies are coming close,and if the player extends the mobilization to the maximum ?

Wow that's a lot of militia. I like the idea in theory ,but maybe you should make them 2 or 3 levels behind to reflect that they are old men and children with minimal training? Regular militia can be quite effective in game.

Do note that at some point, and I find that its rarely said, women were used to reinforce local volksturm brigades as the soviets pierced deeper and deeper into Germany and Berlin. So an option should be given at some point to the player to raise huge amounts of militias but at murderous costs to MP and IC power (women were the last to work in underground factories).

Well,is a fact,because Hitler was planning to mobilize Six million,but the German population was 67 million,with a huge % at the army,and the industry was getting pretty bad,I doubt that even if Germany have time,they will be capable to mobilize six million,so OK,what do you think about reduce from 70 volkssturm to 40?

I suppose a huge wave of militia is justifiable if you're saying that raising them basically means 'Total War' where nearly every single male old enough to hold a rifle is drafted, and the factories are basically empty (-50% IC hit?) then I could see that.

Otherwise, the six million Volkssturm is just a propaganda claim - like Mussolini's six million Bayonets - and shouldn't be used as the basis for the number of militia units the mod should spawn.
