Loving this mod (made an account on here just to say so) Finally I get to live out my dream of colonising the East :')
Speaking of, I have a couple of questions/suggestions. Will there be any more colonizing events for victorious Germany? ie:Netherlands/Belgium/Burgundy? Border gore in the East is bugging me right now haha.
For a suggestion, I would love to see some events where after you make the Siberian and Turkestan states it allows you to speed up colonisation by deporting the natives there and every time you do they get more and more powerful, with free I.C. and divisions (influx of new workers etc.) but at the same time they become more and more anti-German, as the population becomes more filled with angry Slavs, eventually at the last stage of colonization they declare war on you along with a large Eastern uprising. At the same time as this your puppets in the West also declare independence, seeing you as weak and worrying that they're next, and you have an option to declare war to bring them back. During this the Axis collapses and all your allies leave you (probably because they don't appreciate you being a genocidal maniac) and your Balkan puppets (if you chose the occupation events) also rise up. For added difficulty you could give the allies and option to declare war on you and Japan an option to annex Vladivostok, if you took it, and declare on Siberia in an option, if they do this I assume you'd want Siberia and your port back and would fight back against their invasion (surrender events if you take back Vladivostok? Continue conquest of Japanese puppets to expand the RK?).
I want an end-game that allows for a massive colonisation that is really difficult, after crushing the Soviets you probably have a large army and need something that's a big end-game boss. I don't know how hard this would be to code, but seeing the code you've used to make the already existing events it sounds to me (an inexperienced coder mind you) that these events wouldn't be too dissimilar to what exists now. Just the humble musings of a genocidal imperialist who lusts for more Slavic blood and Eastern lebensraum, love the mod and keep up the good work!

So two things.

A bunch of events from world in flames just never fire.

Second, when I'm playing as the USSR, Germany just never invades.
1. Can you give some examples of events that don´t fire?
2. You´ve probably built too many units. AI GER is scared if you have way more divisions than GER and therefore doesn´t attack.

The expansion of the Aalborg airport, reorganization of the luftwaffe, and a couple others. I'll do a quick pre-war playthrough as germany to get some more.

That´s located in db\events\Add_on which is no part of WiF 2, but unique to this mod. I´ve had no play through with GER but as GER AI "Reorganization of the Luftwaffe" has fired in several games.

The reason why the majority of my playtime was with EoD rather than any other mods was the soundtracks, i love them all!

Yeah, that's my point. I don't understand why events will fire for the AI but not for me.
following conditions must be met to trigger the decision:

As you can see, you should wait with liberation of Denmark until you have already triggered this decision.

In my last italian campaign, I managed to break the game. Like, totally.

I became part of the Allies.
France left the Allies.
I refused to sign Anti-Comintern Pact untl 1941.
Meanwhile, Japan conquered China...
...Poland was attacked by USSR...
...I conquered and puppeted Swiss and Yugoslavs...
...Pearl Harbor happened during same time as Anschluss and Munich...
Germany attacked by USSR.
Poland still fighting.
I left the Allies.
Germany attacked France.
Allied Poland and reselling resources to Reich in the same time (+700 ICs by now).
After years, when Polish and German MP dissapeared, USSR bled dry just as same (+32k or so losses).
Fascist counterattack against Red Army, drilling through Alps.

Good times.

Hi,

Has anyone had a CTD issue playing as Germany around the events of 'Yugoslavia royal visit to Bulgaria' and 'Dissolution of Sudeten National Socialists'? I've had a crash around this area 3 or 4 times, and I think it may happen again if I let the game run for long.

I never had these crashes playing the previous version. Any thoughts or fixes?

I never had these crashes playing the previous version. Any thoughts or fixes?

I have never experienced such an issue in my testing games, I therefore suppose that your version is corrupted. Maybe another download could solve this problem.

Wow, i'm soo hyped to play this Mod! It sounds so promising with the events but the WiF2 thing just gave me bad thoughts, WiF2 gets always impossible to win in 1940 when you do the Westfeldzug aka. Fall Gelb where you invade Luxemburg,the Netherlands, Belgium and France, the French just gather up like 140 Divisions with 20 Belgian Divisions where you have a maximum of 150 Divisions which makes the WiF2 Mod Cancer, it always happens to me, you loose like 1 Million Manpower in attacking all these Divisions, it's pure cancer, not that i'm a noob but just saying, i really hope that this Mod doesn't get like this.

France is garbage in this mod. Don't worry at all.

Have to agree with jobrien -- Have played Germany several times with this mod and have found the French campaign to mirror history. I have taken out France each time within the 45 days that the game challenges you to, and I'm an average player at best.

Its not difficult to have Netherlands and Belgium surrender early in your western push. 9 Infantry divisions in each province around the Maginot line will make the French AI commit most of her divisions there. This allows you to drive from Luxemburg towards Paris with your mobile forces, splitting the allies down the middle. You will find Paris ill defended and the Allies will be to slow to stop your advance.

Once you capture Paris, you will still need to grab additional provinces and reduce the allied forces for the French surrender event to pop up. You will find this to be more of a mop up than a challenge (you will have amply opportunity to encircle allied units on the coast and eliminate them to bring their numbers down. I would not bother trying to take out the large allied stacks along the Maginot line. Just keep them pinned down with your infantry divisions while your mobile units grab undefended interior French provinces) Better to save your manpower and have them go away once the French surrender event comes to play)

Hope you will give this mod a try Dolfy, I'm glad I did.

As a side note, got to experience the new UK events in my last German campaign. Enjoyed the flavor and the thought that was put behind them.

I did notice that the UK gas attack event did not have any impact on my German units. I read in the text that I was suppose to suffer a 50% attrition, but I never saw that come into play. Not sure if there is something wrong with the event itself or it didn't come into play because none of my units were in English provinces that suffered from attrition.

@MacDunne Appreciate the feedback. I wish Darkest Hour could model things like chemical warfare, but I don't think any mechanic really does. I might need to adjust supply distance modifier or supply cap to actually make the attrition modifier come into effect.

Thanks, i'm now in the Year 1939, starting to Blitzkrieg Poland lol. Edit : Game is working fine now, exept for France which declared war on me several times in May 1939 for no Reason, i had to use the Cheat "acceptall" to sign a non aggression pact with France which would probably automaticly removed when i trigger Danzig or War (War Declaration on Poland). That's the only Issue i found out, btw it would be awesome if you would create the SS Division "Heimwehr Danzig" after you annexed Danzig after the Event "Danzig or War" , it was historically created in 1939 and resolved in 1940 because all of the Soldiers were transferred to the SS "Totenkopf" Division, it's just a tip you know. Also PLEASE buff the Wehrmacht and SS Bonus Events to a much higher size, like you give the Wehrmacht 5% Boni instead of 1% and the SS 15% ( Would be Historically accurate because the SS were the elite of the elite) so that every SS Division gets very important ( would be Historically accurate too) you know, but besides that the Mod is very well made, i give it a 8 out of 10.
