It's gonna be biblical.
there will be 1.04 with AAR implemented
Thank you - Well yes we will include some fatherland events although it won't be very easy to win the war with Germany or any other Axis nation
Yes I think it's time!Any news on 1.1's official release?
Beta 1.1 Opinion
*Pros
-The German AI in Russia is excellent
-Japanese AI is also excellent
-For the most part fairly historical time frames for operations
*Cons
-Germany always got stalemated in Fall Gelb in my games
-Germany commits too many troop to an invasion of the Congo, this makes the allies loose Africa and never invade Italy
-Italy doesn't join the Axis
-The political leader units should be movable (Roosevelt partaking in D-Day)
.Just started a game as germany and quickly noticed a few things... mobilization is back=) yay. the mod gets an error at the beginning(as you said) but it also seems to cut out the opening popups like (start game) popup among other things. dont know if thats a big deal. i also notice the political leader and staff unit 0.o looks interesting... does keeping the unit alive give u additional combat benefits or political? u also added a lot of new events(that sadly are too big for my screen res and always get black out options=( although i can still read what they curtail. looks like a good update
Thank you for your report I will hopefully integrate all your events for Australia! You can take anything you'd like from my AST mod. I'd be more than happy to share these with you heaps of pre-WW II events and about 150 WW II events documented for making and usage.
25 Aug 1939 – Convinced that war in Europe was inevitable and that Australia would face a national emergency, Menzies made a broadcast calling on the nation to remain calm and ‘behave normally’.
3 Sep 1939 – Menzies announced that ‘in consequence of the persistence of Germany in the invasion of Poland, Great Britain has declared war upon her, and that, as a result Australia is also at war.’
4 Sep 1939 – The outbreak of war was not accompanied by the same widespread expressions of anti-Germanism as there was in WW I. However, the government decided to act swiftly to forestall any possible sabotage or any seditious action and on the morning after the declaration of war, large numbers of known nationals of enemy states were rounded up and sent to internment camps.
7 Sep 1939 – Menzies announced the National Security Regulations Act which was a modernised version of the War Precautions Act giving the Commonwealth government wide powers for the duration of the war.
8 Sep 1939 – A price order was implemented fixing all market prices at the level from the 31st of August. A prices branch of the Department of Trade and Customs was then established and Douglas Copland, professor of economics at Melbourne University, was appointed Commonwealth prices commissioner.
10 Sep 1939 – The leader of the Australian Labour Party (ALP), John Curtin, pledged his party’s full support for the duration of the war on the proviso that no conscription for overseas military service would be introduced.
15 Sep 1939 – Sir Robert Menzies established a war cabinet.
19 Sep 1939 – The moment war was declared the smaller, but well equipped naval and air forces were mobilised and the much larger but under-trained militia and AIF had mobilised.
11 Oct 1939 – Australia’s participation in the Empire Air Training Scheme was announced and was Australia’s first practical contribution to the European war. The RAAF was to train 10 400 pilots and 15 600 wireless operators, observers and gunners. The first contingent of trainees reached Canada for advanced training in September 1940.
20 Oct 1939 – With recruiting for the AIF attracting mostly volunteers, the commonwealth government introduced conscription for the build-up of the less glamorous home militia. All single men who turned 21 in the year ending 1 July 1940 may be subject to a call-up for 3 months training for national service. In practice, the men who did their national service were not called up for the AIF.
13 Nov 1939 – The Department of Defence was by Department of Defence Co-ordination, which Menzies added to his portfolio, and separate departments for the Army, Navy and Air Force.
20 Dec 1939 – Australia Calling, later called Radio Australia, began broadcasting in Sydney before being moved to Melbourne in July 1941.
All WW I - December 1938 events are written, just lacking correct triggers. WW II is still only information only. Hope that you can use these some way
