Yeah, if anything needs to be nerfed it's definitely the pre-war production of aircraft. While the unrealistic amount of infantry divisions is extremely difficult, it is semi-balanced out by the fact that the Soviets don't produce any armored divisions (although I still had to delete about 150ish divisions like
@Soul of Darknes to even things out). Aircraft on the other hand is insane, with the Soviets not only having
more aircraft, but modern aircraft as well. I deleted about half of their air force and even then it felt way too strong.
As for postwar events, I agree that some stuff should be done in regards to Africa. I just went with occupying all of French and Belgian Africa and letting my allies take the rest since there wasn't any flavor in regards to that area.
Also, I ran into some issues (bugs I assume) with Spain, Romania, and Turkey randomly switching governments. Romania stopped switching around after I puppeted them via event, but Turkey (as the Turkish State) kept going Stalinist, even though they were my puppet. I had to use console commands to coup them back to Fascist. Nationalist Spain also randomly would just turn back into Republican Spain so I would have to coup them also (although in this case Prince Xavier would take power instead of Franco). No idea what was causing these issues since there were no announcements that they had changed and I would only notice they had changed weeks after they had done so and the event log had been cleared.
Finally, I also saw an issue with the Japanese/China-Nanjing (Japan conquered China in 1940) AI where they moved their entire armies to the Indochinese-Indian border and got bogged down in fighting there for the next 4 years with the British Raj, letting the US navally invade China and occupy it all. I turned nofog on and even with the entire Chinese coast occupied, the Chinese and Japanese troops refused to budge and take back China, even though they had great numerical superiority (100 Chinese and 70 Japanese divisions vs less than 40 American divisions).
Oh, and yeah, Kerensky became Head of Government after Stalin's death while Kalinin became Head of State. When I reinvaded the USSR five years later after the Treaty of Moscow, leadership finally went to Beria.
