Is it good to let AI manage IC slider and trade?

Depends on your priorities. Of course it is more efficient to manage the sliders yourself, but that is only if you remember to change them every few days. That's why I always use autosliders once the war starts.

One thing you need to remember is that autosliders will always priorize consumer goods if:
a) you have dissent, even if you would normally ignore it as you know there'll be an event coming soon removing the dissent
b) you have a negative cash flow, even if you would normally ignore it as you already have 10k money in the bank

So you should take over slider management when you get dissent and you should set up trades for money, so you will never overspend consumer goods just to make cash.

Auto-Trading is not that helpful, as there is rarely more than one trade offer per week which you should be able to handle manually. ;)

IC no, trade yes.

I would argue the other way around. The auto sliders do a reasonable job if you know their quirks; the auto-trade seemed to screw me over the few times I used it. I may not have used it since HOI2 though so the patches an expansions may have fixed it.

Exactly my thoughts. As stated above, you just need to make sure you have a positive cash flow and you have to watch out for dissent, but about 90% of the gaming time you will be perfectly fine with auto-sliders. The trades are what I like to control myself, until Arsenal of Democracy with its great auto-trade-adjustment-feature is released (only seven days left, hooray!!!) :D
