As i was sharing my experiences with the last map Hapuga released it came to my mind the idea to ask people about this here.

It´s essential to have nice ideas on how this game works, and it´s root essence to prosperity of your kingdom is economics.

Wich, any of you players of this game, are your ideas on how do you improve your own town´s economy to get it to be better, sooner?.

One thing i have clear, is that peasant´s are just slaves that works for free. You pay, for example, 1000 gold for whatever you pay to be built, and that money spent just dissapears of the economy; an economy is a closed circle. No peasant have that money to be taxable in their houses and they can´t spend anything of it... with that the circle is broken. Indeed, with that it means Majesty 2 is broken as a Sim, Majesty 1 too. Maybe it´s correction would create imbalance in the present idea of the game but in no way that does mean it could not be fixed anyway with a good new developing and planning.

If something pretends to be a sim, it shouldn´t commit such obvious mistakes. Unless, it says it don´t pretends to be a sim.

They are in no way slaves. They are serf. Aka, you offer protection and lands, in return you tax and gain rights over them. That's 1:1 history accuracy, or as close as a fantasy sim should aspire, at least.

i was talking about erradicating slavery on Majesty 2, not perpetuating it. A coherent economy sim without degrading human beings. You don´t tax those "serfs" in Majesty 2 on what they really earn, you only see houses that brings you 50 gold pieces by day, without giving those characters any opportunity to contribute to the main economy of your kingdom economically besides that creepy 50 gold per house tax collection scheme. The game is broken in that sense, you dig me?.

I have no idea what you talk about.

IMO the MFKS2 economy system is broken because inside the hero economy there is NO money "loss" what-so-ever. That's just bad, because it reduces the risk of placing flags to 0%, since you get all of it back, unlike MFKS1.
Result: Less tactical requirement.
