Hey folks,
I recently picked up Victoria and before playing, downloaded the 1.03 patch.
I first started a game as Austria and played for a bit but became completely lost and bogged down in the details. I screwed the pooch on my econ by using up all my Machine Parts in the wrong places etc.
For my next game, I fired up Russia in the GC (Normal/Normal). I piddled with the reports for a while, shut down the unprofitable factory and tweaked my budget until I was making ~ 90-100 a day. Unfortunately, no matter what it said as my 'daily balance', I was losing money instead (almost the exact amount, only negative...ie, LOSING 90-100 instead of gaining). Frustrated, I threw the sliders around and ended up losing some troops from lack of upkeep etc. After playing with the sliders some more, it was displayed as final balance of around -100. Instead of losing money, I was GAINING it. This wasnt like the EU oddity where it takes a few days for things to adjust....it went for a solid month displaying a loss, and filling my treasury. I became puzzled, further frustrated and finally just turned it off.
Am I just reading something wrong (although I dont see how I can be). Is something screwed up in the way it displays? Am I just losing my mind?
Any help appreciated!
