If you go on Ebworld.com you'll find Europa Universalis advertised and displayed on their 'PC Games' sections.

Americans are getting over-charged. the game at EB world costs $39.99. the Polish version (which I have already pre-ordered) costs 99zl
which is less than $23.00, plus an extra (free) game is included.
I'm wondering, how much does the German and Swedish version cost?

Hail Ewoku,

You know you are right about that. When I went to EB on Feb 2nd to pre-order this game it actually surprised me when he said $39.99 (plus tax). I was thinking more along the lines of $49.99 of $54.99---but hey I sure as hell am not going to complain :D

You can't compare the game cost in the US or in Poland, things cost more in the US for some reason or other.Games cost more in the EU (European Union) then in the states 'cause of high sales tax.Just wait 'till Poland joins the EU and you'll see prices hike up.

prices hike up?
that's impossible, prices are so high I don't think they can get any higher. at least we don't have sales tax.

The only way to deal with EB is through the internet (at least here in North Carolina). I went to their local outlet, and they guys working there didn't have a clue in the world about where in the **** they were. I had to ask the clerk (a.k.a Booger Eating Moron) three times about EU -- finally I had to begin spelling it-- as he clutched his release sheet so tightly that his knuckles were turning white. Finally, since I received a gift card from wife on Christmas (Yay!), I asked if I could have a copy reserved -- to which the dimwit replied 'Yes you can use a giftcard to buy it when it comes in.' Naturally exasperated at this point, I said 'great' and left....to bad that since then I have discovered that I cannot use the code on the back of the card to order online, I guess I will endure another encounter with Booger Eating Moron in a week. Oh, well, EU is worth it.
