EB cancelled!!!!!

I went to my local eb twice today and once yesterday, Yesterday they said they were geting it tomerow then i went there today and they said they were geting it at 1:00pm so i went back later and they told me the order was cancelled i was devasted. I dont know how im gonna get the game now.

You know, that's exactly what the one right by my house has been saying since last week, but a couple others near me are adamant that they'll have it in 'tommorow'. Of course, they've been saying that for days now, so who knows. o

EB has really dropped the ball on this one. They are usually as dependable as a Japanese car. I have gone to my local EB 3 days in a row and have been told 3 different dates. Today I got the crushing news that now they expect it on the 24th. Gamestop and Compusa are my only hope tommorrow.

I went to EB and Gamestop yesterday. After the "Victoria???" questions and the wierd looks, EB told me the 24th and Gamestop told me tomorrow.

On monday I phoned EB, they said it would be in today (thursday) I go to check: not there . I figured "okay, well, when will you have it?" Not in their computer database . I have this theory, either they are ridiculously stupid when you talk to the people in person (ie, every time I went into the store, they had no record whatsoever of a "Victoria" or "Empire under the sun") but when you speak with them on the phone, they start to have answers (on monday was the first time I ever heard them say anything about the game. If they don't have it on monday, this is gonna be one unhappy camper

I just got an email from EB. My order's shipping date has been moved back to the 23rd, almost a week from the 18th. ARGH

Sounds to me like EB vastly underestimated demand for the game (perhaps they based their initial ordering on what HoI did its first week) so now they are scrambling to secure more copies to fill demand, apparently now demand on the internet site has exceeded their supply. At this rate EB may not have the game on the 24th in their retail stores. Unfortunately here in Columbus it is the only Brick & Mortar retailer to even have a listing - CompUSA, Microcenter and even Virgin Megastore didn't even have listings for the game.

My local EB (Vancouver, CA) told me it's confirmed shipping tommorrow (nov 21) - and they better have it - I paid a $50 deposit!!!!!

I found a Gamespot in my town and talked to them on the phone. They told me it would be in on Friday. If it is, I'll buy it and then go to EB and cancel my order. It will also be the last time I set foot in their store. I dislike being lied to by people I do buisness with.

EB just sent me an email saying it had been shipped; I'll get it tomorrow (Friday). The website says they still have it in stock; even so, I had gottne an email earlier today that it would be shipped on the 23d.

In summary, their first email was wrong and I now have a UPS shipping number

very strange, eb sent me an email saying that my shipment was delayed, i go to my orders section of the site and low and behold the item has shipped and there is even a fed ex tracking number!

Went to EB yesterday and they had no trouble pulling it up on the computer and said the preorders (including mine) will be in on Friday. Gonna walk in there with a sledgehammer tomorrow just in case.

I've always thought EB sucked this mishandling has only put the last nail in the coffin. Paradox needs to do a better job at choosing distributors that will deliver the product when they say they will.

I cancelled ny EB order online yesterday, but when I went to check the status of my order, it says that it has been shipped!!! I can't believe this awful mistake, plus, the UPS website says that my shipping number doesn't exist. So, apparently EB just charged my credit card a day after I had cancelled the order, and did't even send me a game. What should I do??
