Hi, sorry if this has been asked and aswered before just post the link to the appropriate thread then please, thanks ^^

I want to mod my game to prolong the battles, I 'think' it is enough to change the org/morale values of the units and the doctrines
can anyone tell me how the values should be changed to archieve that effect? (i know some mods have done it pretty well)
(for land battles that is)

Increase the base chances to avoid hits in db/misc.txt.

Hard to say, particularly since the same variables will also affect air- and naval combat.

what i did now was to download the TRP mod (took a while with my slow connection atm :( )
they have increased both "avoid to hit chances" by 0.1 to 0.9 and 0.7

they didnt change the morale and org values of land units per se (as far as i can tell anyways)

so for now ill try that if nobody else can help me with it

if this (rather small) change results in the desired effect ill post it here so that others who might want that can just use the numbers
(and sorry folks from the TRP that i had to 'steal' from your mod but i actually want to start playing again some time soon, hope you dont mind ^^)

I play with values of 0.99 and 0.9, respectively, and also a GDEE of 1.1 (although I have no idea if this actually has any effect) and GDE ranging from 1.1 to 1.25 depending on doctrine. Then, I also have highly inflated combat values for all division types.
