Easy way to make a census ?

Hi,
I would like to know if you have a quick method to count the number of people within each kind of POP ?
I use the ledger, p6 i guess, and unfortunately I've to count each POP manually.
Are you aware of a way to get these numbers ? for instance, i want to know how many soldiers i have ? the information for the whole population gives the answer only for the most representative POP, I think POP under 2% of global pop aren't shown on screen.

I don't know any other way than what you allready suggested.
But if you are interested in the small pop, it shouldn't be that hard to add up the numbers in the ledger.
And the larger pop you could get by multiplying the percentage from the global pop page with the total pop count.'

for soldiers pop, you can hover your mouse over the manpower part of the UI. you'll get a breakdown of the various culture solder pops you have. something like: South german 7/17, north german 6/6. add the second number up and x 10,000 and you get a rough idea of your soldeire pops. (23k in this example.)

good point how can I forget this
for the small pop it can be a bit boring when you play a big country.

To the OP are you aware that you can get a break down of all pop types as a percentage of your total population in one of the summary screens. How about multiplying your total population by that percentage?

I think this is true only for the first six main POP type, at least in the screen i can think of "Population overview", the last 6 POP type aren't represented in this pie, hence my question.
