I think the icon is excellent. You understand what it means and it is easy to recognize.
It's true. What would be softer than a teddy bear? Should they had put a pillow there?
Or a pillow with a teddy bear on it.
That is bit hard to draw with two colours, though...

Apperantly he helped the allies in the Battle of Monte Cassino, so they can't be THAT weak
