Japan salutes the western friendly allied powers. Emperor Hirohito has publicly acknowledged it's dependence on allied economy. Peace is secure in Asia for the moment. We turn an approving eye on our fellow national socialist government as they have successfully taken france and installed the puppet government of Vichy. The Emperor took this time to seize French IndoChina and Install a puppet government in Siam to start the slow trek of becoming more self sufficient. This has probably angered allied forces but Japan promises they are appeased with their new acquisitions, and will continue to remain peaceful.

Well, this is partially my fault. The issue it seems would have resolved in 5 days, and if we use the last save will almost certainly fire ASAP. I really don't understand why the event was designed with a 5 day layover like that, but that is how it is done. I will be taking a close look at it to see if it can be arranged differently.

I think it could be a little more subtle, and perhaps I can tinker with it.

Ive played in games with this event before, and I could of sworn there was a delay of sorts involved with it (thats why I kept saying let the game keep rolling a bit, to see the partition events fire). I have a feeling its intentionally set up that way, to make sure Italy gets the right provinces and USSR gets the right provinces (without writing up a billion lines of script to ensure provinces are turned over no matter the current owner, etc).

So the event does infact work as intended or....?

So are we going to continue where we left off, or at the earlier save? (if earlier save, dont forget to put me back in alliance with brazil)

The only reason I didn't do MG's tech for the last session was because I found out about 5 minutes before game start. If Pre-Planned-Defence Doc, was not a very serious issue, I probably would have said fuck it.

Its also an issue, not just of saying the tech is "done", but also fixing all the morale and organization values for all land units, and fixing the HQ supply bonuses, and also battle effects like "Delay" and the like. Probably something like 20 individual values have to be fixed. Its not enough to say the tech is done. Its fiddly.

I like the idea of a Marathon, but I am also unavailable for the 22nd. Also, anything over Christmas up to the 28th is right out. However, I could do a make up date with this game anytime Friday the 21st, or even Thursday, though I don't know about a marathon. I guess it really depends on KT2 and his schedule, otherwise will probably have to postpone til the 29th.
