Novice player here, I really like the Kir'ko abilities and lore but I can't quite figure out their economy. They have the brood cluster which gives a flat production discout to units. So it seems like Kirko colonies can build T1 and T2 units quickly without needing production sectors. And they have a doctrine to produce more food.
The problem I ran into is that the Brood Cluster, much like other unique buildings, takes a lot of production for a colony without production boosts. So when does the building save time? When you have a food sector with most colonists working in it?
Please share your thoughts on using early doctrines and faction bonuses for early game expansion and production, inclusing which sector exploitations you prefer for your first and second colonies.
