Has anyone else noticed that, if an early war starts with the U.K., and the U.K. chooses "Appoint Churchill" in "The Appointment of Churchill" event, Stanley Baldwin will not be replaced as Head of Government? Or that Neville Chamberlain will also not be replaced so long as it is pre-1939?

Others have probably already known this, but this is caused by the minister files. Right now Winston Churchill as HoG is only available at 1939, and Lord Halifax as HoG is only available at 1940. This can be easily remedied by changing the year available to 1936.

Are there any historical reasons why Churchill or Halifax would be prevented from being Prime Minister, given Germany rampaging through Belgium and France in 1936?

(Also, while this isn't exactly the same topic... it might be interesting to edit the "Abdication of Edward VIII" event so that it won't fire if the U.K. is at war with a major power... any thoughts on that?)

The only reason that I can think of is that Chamberlain hasnt done the "Peace in our time" blunder yet.

That's a good point. That would be more along the lines of a reason to prevent "The Appointment of Churchill" event from even firing, so long as "Treaty of Munich" never happened.
