Early Access for Backers?

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
Backers will get their keys a day or so before release. But that is all.
We will not be able to play until the game is released on the 24th. We may be able to pre-load but that is it.

Sad to hear.(( I can't hold on anymore, watching all these promo-streams on Twitch. These two weeks gonna be the longest two weeks in my life.

Well, if we think it over we were able to get game for 25$ (true, some pledged more but still).
Preloading would be huge, it would give modders a head start. Please allow at least this much.
That really depends on what your definition of "small" is... those with bandwidth limits on their connections might not want to use too much of it before they've downloaded BATTLETECH.
Well.... seeing as R6 Siege is currently taking up 84 gb of my SSD, i imagine Battletech will be small on my chart of HD usage haha

I honestly hope, that we get at least a preload, since I'm sitting on 1 mb/s download rate on steam, and that's on a good day. That way I would be able to download overnight
Would be a nice gesture if backers could start a little early. If however Steam cant do it easily I can see why they would not.
Definitely not a limitation on Steam, other games have done the thing where backers and other preorders get early access.
Not true backers get the satisfaction in knowing that had they and the rest of the backers not backed the game it wouldn't even exist
