The fact that particular screenshot was shown at E3, despite the 3 of us not getting any credit, still puts a smile on my face. I at least know that what PI is showing off to everyone is my work that we volunteered to provide.
That's not to mention all of the other map modders who worked on the map. The screenshot of Spain shows the map work of sauloaleia, who redid all of Iberia just as jat85, ATLeow, and I redid all of East Asia. PaxImperator, VetMax, Frank+Frei, and many others also contributed to the new map as well.
thanks! I wont be able to answer questions there though because my old school-german is very rusty
We very much appreciate the work because the updated map is really nice. This stuff has been handled in the beta forums so only really the beta guys have been credited. I forgot about the other contributors, so sorry about that. I'll put in a thank-you notes to the team in the credits once the 3.06 patch is final though. (also do apply for beta next time if you can).
Seriously, this should've been implemented back with Semper Fi. THIS would make HOI3 a much more manageable game than it is now. Managing hundreds of units at a time manually is just awful for Barbarossa. Praise Ares for finally enlightening PI!
Well you can certainly draw up some plans in SP if you like (cool arrows are cool), but no, you cannot coordinate with the AI with them.
- A new custom game mode for both single and multiplayer. You start with a clean slate and can instantly produce units, research technologies and affect political alignment before the game begins. This allows you to model interesting 'what-if' scenarios and speeds up the early years for those who would like to jump straight into the action with no slow build-up.
Looking forward to it! Can we put in a request for a horizontal scroll bar in the units page in the statistics tab?![]()
what i would really love to see in this expansion would be the creation of vehicles and air planes to be similar to that of ships , being able to select different componenets would be a great add-on , one that would satisfy many people i think , especially the modding community.
