I'm a bit of a noob at modding, which is probably why my attempts to copy over the dynasty shields from the "additional dynasty shields" mod into HIP, have failed to actually do anything. Anyone know how to add the shields to the mod, so that I don't have to activate the mods separately and suffer all the HIP shields not showing up?

Since if I activate both mods, then that's what happens, and you see stuff like the Karlings and Wessex getting generic shields. Which is quite unfortunate.

You need to edit coats_of_arms.txt to include the new files into the COA list and then you need to edit each and every dynasty using a new shield in dynasties.txt .

It's going to take legwork to accomplish!
