So for whatever reason Austria has no heir and only a few royal marriages. I managed to get a royal marriage and have like 8x prestige compared to Aragon plus 91 legitimacy. Yet somehow it still says that Trastamara gets to become the new ruler rather than me. WTF is this? Is there some magical factor where the Trastamaras get priority on marriages? Because I think I had a similar issue before.

If they're married to Castille, it's probably coming from there rather than Aragon. Who are you playing as?
I was Denmark and they were not married to Castille, not that it mattered since I was higher prestige than Castille, too. Maybe people who are allied rather than just married get precedence.
Did Aragon claim Austria's throne? Most likely Austria will just get an heir anyway.
