Dynasty creator DLC

Hi gang

Just wanted to bounce the idea of a "Dynasty creator" around.

I know we have the super fun Character creator, and I have enjoyed it very much. But when I heard it was coming I had the image in my mind that you could also create your forefathers and create a real history for your character, with traits going back many generations and maybe even linking people to other dynasties in game, giving you a certain weak or distant claim on land.

I know I'm not the only one thinking it, probably not even the first to make a post about it... Just wanted to hear some more input and other ideas from my fellow players.

I see no reason technically why you couldn't set up your entire family, other than the higher possibility for an unfair start (How do you balance 2 supersmart parents, one of which is you, with a genius child) etc.

I like the idea of adding in forefathers, but I reckon it may be difficult to list them as holding land. I just like dynasties that trace their ancestory a bit before game start. A bit sad, but it makes me feel that the family is, in a sense, an old or established dynasty. I just love adding a bit of RP.

Same, I want some forefathers, but without any landed titles for them. And they all should be dead at the start, or if you could create a branches, then only your generation should be alive.

Why bother with dlc if you can easily mod it yourself.
Paradox games are very easy to mod.

For convenience? I can edit save, sure, but wouldn't it be better if you could do it faster in-game?

And anyway, Ruler Designer needs an update. At least with emblems and new templates.
