I was wondering what peoples largest dynasties people ever had, mine is about 1000 living members and 6000 dead members (how big is that in comparison to real dynasties?) thanks for any answers!

My games rarely last more than 200 years, so the largest I can remember is about 400 alive and 1000 dead.

AFAIK most dynasties never really became particularly large with "official" members, due to the practice of cadet dynasties and so on with second and subsequent sons.

Though if real dynasties adhered to the CK2 system, some of the largest and oldest would probably number many thousands, with many perhaps not actually being extinct.

I've seen screenshots on these forums of some spectacularly huge dynasties. One person had a child born with 4k prestige thanks to dynasty prestige, they had spread their dynasty all over the map.

My dynasty only has about 350 living members, 500 in all.

It's not even 1200 yet, so I'm hoping I can break 1000.

Whenever a kids born I believe they're born with a few thousand bits of prestige.

In a Roman Playthrough after RoI I had 1300 Alive and 3000 dead. Can't remember what it finished on because the dynasty interface became so slow it froze the game when I opened it. But it may have been about 5000.
