Dynamic Naming for Priests

Hi folks!

First off, I wanted to thank the HIP team for all of the amazing work that's gone into the mod. I've been using it for years and it keeps me coming back to the game!

I've been making small changes to your files (like, for example, adding more names in Dalmatian (ragina for queen, ducaissa for duchess, and so on). I've also done some dynamic naming of the Mediterranean islands for the Iberian cultures (I'm a native Spanish and English speaker).

But as I was doing all this, I realized that I wasn't able to successfully change the titles of bishops, archbishops, etc. I know there are titles in Germany and Italy that are hardcoded to a certain name (Markgrafschaft, Marchesato, the archbishop titles in places like Cologne and Trier). But I was trying to get, for example, the Duchy of Umbria/Ducato di Umbria to become the Arcivescopo di Umbria if I give it to a bishop (and I'm Lombardo), and I wasn't able to figure that out. I am easily able to change all titles that aren't religious.

Is there a way to achieve this? Are religious titles hardcoded? I'd love to be able to get the religious titles be dynamic.

The way I understand it is that dynamic naming by religion takes priority over dynamic naming by culture, and since priest titles are all dynamically named by religion they can't be changed based on culture.

Exactly, you can only change the names for the entire religion, not for each culture, sadly.

I myself prefer to remove the "Prince-" prefix of Count- and Duke-tier Bishops and Archbishops, but we'd probably have to stick with generic English unless we actually want to use Latin titles, which I suppose would be the most correct.

You can modify these for the Catholic religion:
