Give it some time. A lot of people are busy on the weekends. Usually if you check twice a day you'll max your viewing audiance response. Weekends people like to do other things than sit in front of their computers.

Also Put your AAR in your sig. Try stopping by the BAAR also and make some noise about yourself. :D

October

The German industry is one of most power. Standing at 511IC it has the power to do everything. At the present time, the entire industry is set to improving the technological level of the country. Just last week the Germans completed the 70mm tank cannon. As that was completed more work was focused on the tanks, a b-line was set to get to a more improved medium tank.

The AirForce -One Of Mass Diversity-

Zimmermann was one to enjoy dominating the skies. Work on the airforce is all round. At the time, most fighter improvement has stoped with the current Bf109E-4s, which is the basic interceptor.

For bombers, a lot of working is going ahead for Strategic bombers. Zimmermann wants to be able to cripple the industry of anybody who opposes him. On the tactical level, a lot of progress is being completed as well. The Stukas are complete, right now progress of the He-50s are being upgraded to the Ju-87 Stukas. This craft strikes pure fear into those on the receiving end.

TRAITORS!

Late October saw revolution in southern Germany. A mass anti-semetic movement was in progress in Bavaria. It lasted not long, as Zimmermann being jewish brought a quick, and brutal end to it. The leader of the revolution was once air marshall Herman Goering. His life was brought to an end in a public execution. His head was detached from his body following the swiping of the guilutine.

Friends At Last

After many talks with the Ottomans they finnaly accepted a mutual protection pact. Germany was granted full military acess by the Ottomans in return for protection against the Soviets to the north. Many firefights had been going on between Soviet and Ottoman boarder guards. Five years before, there had been a war when the Ottomans took the province of Kars. The war was technicly un-official since there was no decleration of war.

The Zimmermann Doctrine

Zimmermann was a man of cunning intelligence and charm. However, when it came to the battlefield he was a master of everything. Serving in the German army during the war againsed France in the early 1900s, he aided the Germans in the taking of Saarsbrucken and Colmar. He was quickly promoted to General and the Field Marshall. In 1934, Zimmermann became leader of Germany. Things in the military changed quickly. Almost all cavalry units were quickly disbanded. The remaining ones were used as scouts and expeditionary forces. The officers and soldiers of the disbanded cavalry units were trained in the art of modern warfare. Many of them would become future tank commanders, drivers and gunners. Nobody was ever wasted in Germany, everyone had a purpose.

Mass Firepower

Zimmermann was one to think of mass firepower as one of the means to win. Zimmermann made sure there was never a shortage of artillery. Factories around the country were pumping out guns. Zimmermann said to his generals that an overload of artillery bombardment would be one of the tactics used. Though it wouldn't be the only one, it would help later on. One of his favorites in which he helped in the design was the 88mm FlaK 36. This cannon was exteremly formidable. It had a tri purpose. The cannon could serve as an Anti-Tank weapon, indirect artillery and also serve as an Anti-Aircraft cannon should the right ammunition be used.

This is an 88mm cannon outside the military museum in Berlin.

Ze FlaK

Much work was done on making the German Anti-Aircraft defense the best in the world. Since 1934 ever province has a level of 3 in the Anti-Aircraft department. That means there are at least 12 AA guns for every square kilometer. This creates a dome on which many guns can fire at enemy planes at the same time. A wall of FlaK is extremely deadly. FlaK cannons range from low level 20mm-40mm. Cannons used to intercept bombers were from 75mm to 120mm. The 120mm cannons were vicious yet expensive. The shell was one of great power creating an explosion sending shrapnel in every wich direction. The 88mms were used the most due to their convenience and cheap manufacturing costs.

They New Year

An uneventfull January, not much happened in the diplomacy world. China was starting to get angry at Portugal for the mal treatment of Portugese China. China demanded the land however it did not work. It wasn't over there. China had put many of their infantry divisions on the boarder. Surely, war was out of the question...

The Building
April

It has been years since anything has been done to improve the German army. In April, a vast project was undertaken to improve the German airforce. The German Do-17s were to all be upgraded to He111s. There were four Do-17 divisions in Germany at the time. The Do-17 was hopelessly outdated and had to be upgraded. All German He50 dive bomber divisions were to be upgraded to Ju87 Stukas. The upgrading action put a lot of reasearch on halt due to the fact this operation must continue.

May

With the airforce improvement of the previous month, the military would start to grow. Knowing the vast amount of mountains and hills across parts of France and southern Russia, 6 Mountain Divisions were to be started. The date was set for May 6th. All 6 divisions were equipment with artillery brigades.

Heating Up
June 1st, 1937

After two months of talks, Zimmermann finnaly got military acess from the Swiss. This was a very good advantage since the Swiss also said they would allow an attack from their country. The French were furious at the Germans. They began to mobilize on the Franco-German boarder. Routine operations were now underway and boarder guards stared down the muzzle of one another's rifle. Could there be a war between France and Germany? Would the Grand Alliance of Germany, Austria and Italy be able to take on the Allies?

July 2nd, 1937

The Leaders Birthday is Today. Zimmermann is now one year older!

July 28th

France leaves the Allies. As well, this action was unexplained. Britain was now the only Ally in Europe, would Britain be able to take on the Germans alone? Could the British Airforce keep the German Luftwaffe out? What was going to happen with France? Would the once powerfull country start any actions? Was Germany thinking of doing something? Surely they were not ready for a war...

WAR!
August 5th, 1937
FRANCE DECLARES WAR ON GERMANY!

The 5th of August found a decleration of war on Germany. Zimmermann did not have the army to take on France, Germany was not ready!

August 6th
Belgium, fearing a German decleration of war offered military acess to Germany. Germany accepted.

The Strategy
europe1914.jpg

Unprepared as Germany was for the war, they would have to make with what they had. There were only 21 divisions that could invade, all of them infantry, some with specialized brigades. There were 5 divisions out Danzig that were to go to Switzerland. They would be split up into a group of 3 and 2. However, it would be towards the end of the month untill they even reach Switzerland, at that time they would have to re-organize.

There were two other armies ready. A group of 9 and another of 7. Romell was still in Spain with his 5....

The army of 9 was led by General Heinrici and would invade from Brussels into Sedan. The division of 7 was led by Field Marshall Liest and would invade Chaumont also from Brussels. This was all that Germany really had planed at the time. Chances were the divisions would be split up once again. They would have to wait in France untill the army from Switzerland was able to create another front...

Nice, looks like the French will soon be beaten.

I wonder if the Brits will come to their aide?

First Victories

The first German victories came in late August. German forces crossed Belgium and into France for the first time in many many years. German forces quickly took the provinces of Sedan and Chaumont. Sedan was taken with no resistance at all. Chaumont was defend by 1 hastly assembled division. It had no chance agaisnt the Germans.

Nothing in, or out

Following the taking of two French provinces, Zimmerman ordered the German fleet set up in the English Channel. 16 Ships were sent out and 5 submarines as well. No aid from the allies was going to get through to France...

There was one more call, a call to the man in Spain...Rommel was back, and ready to rip through France.
