1) The Empire:
Much, much better in DW. No more stupid blobbing, instead central Europe is now a "diplomacy first" region. Never have vassals been more useful than inside the HRE.
2) The Hordes:
Problematic. If you are next to them they are a huge pain, if you have a single province inbetween they have no influence whatsoever. The AI cannot cope with continual wars - all in all, a passive horde mechanic (like pirates in MM) might have been better.
3) France goes extreme:
Not so much for me. Performance of all nations vary and I find Castille much more annoying than France in this regard.
4) Magistrates:
One of the best fixes in DW. Finally you have to decide between blobbing and developing your country. There is no more need for massive expansion unless you want to, shifting the game balance from giant countries to large and medium ones. Even a medium sized Netherlands now has a chance to become a world power and defend itself against another major nation. Much, much, much better than HTTT.
