Status report for French :
Continued teching trade 3, when that was done I alternated between land and infra. This was due to Austria teching land and me therefore changing my priority from Infra to Land.
Annexed 2 Vassals, the Bourbonnais and the Savoy. The Austrians were a bit upset and eventually dowed in order to get Savoy they said. The war went fine, had +20WS when disaster struck, My entire cavalry army with its shock 5 was destroyed by some Austrian upstart. Offered Savoy, but Austria wanted Piedmont. Even though WS was positive, I only had 1 leader to combat him with and therefore thought this would be for the best to peace out. Austria ended up releasing Piedmont as his vassal.
The palatinat offered to take Bar from Lorraine and sell it too France after it found itself in war with it. It ended when the Austrian Perm told the Palatinat sub that Him and France were enemies. Palatinat vassalised Lorranie instead.
Explored to the east, colonised a bit that way as well, in order to be able to reach chine and indonesia. Found most of the eastern COT's. There is currently an explorer heading east from the Maldives.
Other than that I just built a refinary some tax collectors and tried to trade despite negative stab most of the time. Also went +Off with the DP click I got, you have 1 BTW pretty much at the start of next session. Gathered 3 lag loanes the last years of playing and gathered enough ducats to pay them off. So remember to beat Bob over the head with that edit.
Best of luck, hopefully you will be able to take some of the French cultured provs from the Germans, and then ofc some German cultured provs.
