Hi there,
I usually play as a Dutch OPM and form the Netherlands by allying France and crushing Burgundy, however this has an impact on the Burgundian succession that gives everything to (most of the times) Austria. I was wondering if instead of declaring war against the Burgundy every 5 years, then against Austria and the whole HRE it would be a better idea to just settle with the ones required to form the country, then wait for the Dutch riots of 1550ish.
Not very familiar to the mechanism though. Are the riots successful? Will the provinces just join the Netherlands if they manage to break freeor will I need to core those territories?
Any information on the subject is very welcome!
