The Church is stealing my kids!

I have noticed (playing 1066 at Normal/aggressive that my sons have a tendency to become bishops out of nowhere. Suddenly I get an inheritance event and my sons are moved "kabum" to some far off Duchy.

At first I thought this was a juicy bonus from marriage with the lovely Sancha Jimenez, but it seems not the case, or she is related to 5-10 different bishops who all rely on her as heir-mother.

While it nets my future king a free province or two every time my first born Inherits I lack control of the child and it bugs me, bugs me, bugs me.

I think bishops can be appointed from the court of the papal controller.

yes but the player should choose who is appointed from those who have clerical education.. it shouldnt be just randomly assigned
