Would you be so kind as to allow EEP to be installed as both a modpath mod and a traditional one? I suspect that only one mod will be allowed at one time, so I would prefer to install EEP on top of the original directory structure and append my changes using the modpath statement.

I'm not sure what you mean. At any rate, since most people want to play both the original and EEP, it's gonna remain probably the same way it is now.

Using the modpath argument doesn't preclude the use of the original scenarios. In fact, modpath will keep things nicely separate for those of us who are worried about downloads affecting each other.

Does the EEP copy over or otherwise modify any of the original scenario files? If so, it should be a mod.

I have suggested that the EEP from 1.1 on will be released with a moddir installation only. That way you can make all the changes you want without having to overwrite other mods (you can e.g. have different flaf/shields sets for U00 in two different mods) .
