Driving me Mad

Hi All

I own EU3, HOI3 and Victoria 2. Guess what none of them work.

EU3 worked under XP, HOI3 and Victoria 2 have both worked before under Vista 32-bit. However about 6 months ago I tried cheating by editing one of my HOI3 files. Instantly none of them worked and no I cant remember what I edited.

Anyway I've a fresh install of Vista (today) and I have gone and installed HOI3 and it still doesnt work.

I cant remember what username I originally registered them under. Please can someone tell me if theres registry entries that have remained which I need to remove or something?

What do I delete so reinstalls will work? It must be something as all three have worked in the past. The only thing different is I have a geforce 460se now.

My card is limited to a 30hz refresh rate and I'm trying to play through HDMI if it matters

OK guys I think I know what the problem is

These games require 50hz, 60hz etc and the problem is I'm wired up to a HDTV at 30hz. I only have a HDMI cable which links my PC to my TV because me being the bright spark that I am threw out my monitor cable when I binned my monitor.

How do I get this game to work now (blubbering)
