Hi,

I'll send you a few files later today.

Still can't get to that OOB site. My initial recommendation for the Jap_China file would be

bergsjaeger = 5
militia = 15

Of course all the other Switch files would need to be adjusted accordingly.

FINALLY! lol

On the 4th iteration, POL accepted the ENG Guarantee and the game (thru early 1942) has fallen out more or less they way it usually does.

Teg, if you are going to fix those FRA event, then I'm done for now.

I will have something of a treat for Hagar over the weekend, but nothing for 0.70.3.

Hi,

Hopefully you just had some very odd choices by the AI happening repeatedly. OTOH, these do provide some insight. My current test game as GER is different than how I've played before as I went for a Z-plan build and intentionally left CZE intact after Munich and didn't go with the MR Pact or attack POL. This let me see the defective AI behavior went the SOV attacked POL. The AI switching that occurred induced a number of small nations to unilaterally DOW the SOV. Worse, ITA attacked the SOV and attacked JAP. So I'm adjusting that scripting a bit.

Typo in the name of CHI event 480104 "Transfer of Industry: Shaghai".
As USA I had the Neutrality Acts/War in Spain event in June 1937, but the SCW already ended in March 1937.

Don't know if it's already integrated, I suggest to delete CZE event 1000005 from cored_election_events.

Zsar: Dynamic Trade ai

Is there a necessity to remove trade settings from other ai files? I guess any initial Settings will be overwritten but settings in switch files might need removal.

Attention:

renamed the AI Event file to cored_AI_trade.txt and placed it in the Vanilla_AI Directory, which is our only AI file Directory.

Hi,

Neutrality Acts: D2 the later game effect of these events we need them to fire even if the SCW is already over. I think this is realistic enough in that the SCW triggers an isolationist response. IT just takes awhile for a democracy to enact the applicable laws.

Dynamic Trade: Right now this is going to cause some issues. The initial stockpiles are not optimized to work with these events and are probably set too low. I expect that initially the AI pricing will go up almost across the board. I'm planning on adjusting the stockpiles along with another minor fix I'm doing to the inc files. Once that is done it would be best to align the initial values with what the event driven values would initially shift to. That way the game starts off smoothly.

No need to remove anything.

... There is an edge case that might cause trouble, when a country already at aggressive pricing (that is, with a shortage imminent) is switched to a lower pricing via unrelated AI file switch - and then would not switch back due to incorrectly set flag.
This should not break anything important, as other countries are planned to eventually put resources on cheaper-than-normal prices, but it is something to watch out for.

I would like to ignore this issue for the next version specifically so we can see how robust the system reacts to that, but a few versions down the line, resource prices should indeed be purged from unrelated switch files.
The initial stockpiles are not optimized to work with these events and are probably set too low. I expect that initially the AI pricing will go up almost across the board. [...]
Yes and yes.

As far as I have seen, beyond that there will be no gameplay issues that have not been present before - just countries which ran out of resources before may still be unable to catch themselves (but should still be more competent then before).

I never liked that; is misleading.
