This fixes the independent French policy option in the Munich chain.
Should there also be a minimum French interventionism for this?
There is a similar option for a more aggressive UK response which I will do next.

Question:
I notice some events scripted like this:
"domestic = { type = interventionism value = 0 }
NOT = { domestic = { type = interventionism value = 9 } }"
In the Scenario files, ranges for domestic ratings are given as 1 to 10.
Is the way of expressing them in the event commands different? ie in the range 0 to 9 ?
IIRC, a "Type = interventionism value = 9" means 9 or greater. Is this correct?

Vermin

That is a proplem whit the mod dir. To use a mod in multiplayer on hoi2, AoD, DH you need to copy the mod folder's content to the main game folder then start game as "vanilla".

thx alot! That worked! Why aren't there more of these games. Addicted to AoD and Darkest Hour... couldn't really get into HOI3 tho :{

Well, and here I thought everyone had gone off elsewhere. lol

I noticed that an event is formatted incorrectly. It shows as "EN830162#Lend-Lease: Design Destroyer Escorts for the UK".

Not sure if this is correct, but I cannot build the Ship AA units for CV, BB, CA or TP anymore. Hmm.

And I love all the new photos. One does seem a wee bit off, though. "Significant Field Modifications" means modifying equipment, like B-25 bombers, while deployed, not at the factory. The picture shows an airfield.

Found a couple of potential USA Tech Teams. Gibbs & Cox did significant naval architecture work during the game period. In fact, they still do. Also, most heavy US guns were made at the Watervliet Arsenal in New York state. The USA is a little shy of historical development in guns, I'm thinking.

You will hopefully see some more of me around here now.

Must have misinterpreted that one... Not the easiest one to find however. I have some possible source images, but suggestions are welcome. :)

Yes vermin, the LAA AA that should be buildable for CV/BB/CA/TP (maybe BC). Apparently, "someone" was working to further modify some of the naval brigades and wasn't finished, or perhaps didn't test it. I may have found something, but I have to test my hypothesis.

HAGAR! I missed you since you went off to work on another project. Is that over now? As to "Significant Field Modifications", the best photo that comes to mind is one of a modified B-25 with four .50 cal MGs in the bow window, and perhaps the four .50 cal MG pods attached under either side of the cockpit on the fuselage. Your confusion about its meaning is quite understandable.

Hi Armd! Yep, that project is well and truly over. Which is in part responsible for the massive influx of event imagery in the latest Beta. :rolleyes: I've sent you some possible replacements for "Significant Field Modifications" by email. :)

The 1938 election should actually be deleted, since the 1936 election was the last before the war. So either FRA goes a different path in early 1936 or it sticks with the leftist governments of Blum/Chautemps/Daladier till 1940. Those HoG changes should be handled via "Minister resigns" events.

So, what is the general development status; is much happening behind the scenes?

There are issues with unit placement after Anschluss/end of CZE:
After Anschluss several units appear in Austria and southern Germany but the divisions are all placed in Vienna, same with End of CZE and leichte divs all placed in Prague. From the event comments the placement of the units was intended, the div placement was obviously an oversight.

Japanese events 470145, 6 and 7 all have an added option c with an ai_chance of 5 for not now but maybe later.
Option b is unchanged - ai_chance = 0 which is no problem but Option a is also unchanged and it has an ai_chance of 100!

I believe we would need a cancel event for the Maginot extension if it's underway but not all provinces in their hand, otherwise FRA may still pay for something they can't get built.
further suggestion - in the initial extension event reduce manpower by just 14 (for building/construction works), upon finishing the 38 extension just remove 6 manpower for manning the forts but do not add even higher contruction cost for next for level. Upon finishing the 40 extension just give 8 manpower back (14 - 6 for manning the forts). At least this setup would be easier to cover with a cancel event.

In my current game I still have the local flag ITA_SCW_mobilisation = 1 in 1939 despite SCW been over in 1937. I assume trigger + sleep in 460117 (and in variant 118) does not work as intended. Probably affects both demob events.

Keeping the Blackshirts active in ITA 460006B should be punished with some dissent.

Belgium does not need to man their fortifications built in 38/40? No additional manpower costs. Their construction may have differed from France with not that big permanent crew.

Hi guys,

I´m not doing any modding or testing at the Moment (haven´t done so for a couple of months), but will include anything that has the support of the dev team members that are active here AND is submitted in a finished form (i.e. a proper file).

Best Regards

Possibly the Maginot extensions should have some Garrison troops on completion of the first level. I'm not sure whether the existing French garrison units reflect the fortress troops or the interval troops.
I have not played Belgium - perhaps they have no manpower? I do generally think the Maginot fort garrisons should have 1 AT brigade attached to one of the garrison units to reflect the AT defences (47mm SA 37 APX AT guns (and specially made 37mm version) etc to make it harder for and more costly for the Panzers to crash through.

What´s the consensus on Vermin´s Churchill Events? It is true, that this will get some options in the Sudeten chain to work. But it is also some sort of no-brainer for any UK Player. Should there be some downside to appointing Churchill? A bit more than just a -20 relations hit?

Vermin:have you played this out as GER and ENG? There are some uncoded holes in the Sudeten Events that might pop up only if you appoint Churchill...
