Download and installation Issues

Heyas! I seem to be having issues downloading this mod for 0.1.6. I don't understand what program I am suppose to open the file with. Some assistance would be appreciated!

The zip file is in the correct document folder however when you launch the game nothing appears to have changed same medieval Europe map and holdings. What am I missing?

This isn't like the Steam Workshop (god that thing SUCKS), you need to unzip the files. Try 7zip or WinRAR or I'm pretty sure you can even do it through Windows without anything else.

Ah! Ok I must have missed that step in my frustration... it works perfectly now! Thank you for your assistance! Sorry to trouble anyone!
