So I am trying to get rid of a sattelite so I can war it, and then annex it. How do I go about doing this?

Im byzantine greeks with a sattelite serbia appended due to event. Breaking alliances doesn't break the annoying sattelite status/

End your military access and alliance first, then you can declare war on it.
