Has anyone else seen any double heatsinks at all?
Or are they like the gauss rifle? The ones on your highlander are the only ones, and you're pretty much screwed if they take any damage.

In the recent AMA one of the developers did on Reddit, it was stated that they were looking into making it possible to get Lostech outside of the campaign in the future, but for now you are limited to what is made available to you via the campaign.

Ammo comes from a magic fountain, so as long as your ammo bins are not destroyed, it gets replenished between missions.
Well, Gauss ammo is just plain metal slugs, so easy enough to manufacture.
I guess you could say that the ammo bins themselves have some sort of loading mechanism for the weapons so you can't actually make extra tons, but it's easy to replenish, as long as they don't get destroyed

Besides, Gauss rifle ammo are just inert metallic projectiles and not exactly 'high tech'. Anything that responds to magnets would likely work. You could probably put a I-beam/forks in the muzzle and fire it at mach-3 as well. ;)

I lost one in a very tough fight but the highlander in its normal configuration doesnt really need it and the fight could have gone much worse so I didnt reload.
(Ambush convoy vs 2 Kingcrab 1 Victor and a shrek + 4 80-95 vehicles.)

Even with a Firestarter blowing his full flamer load all over the Highlander, it shrugs it off like a tickle-me-Elmo. :)
