Hey,

this door in The Abyss doesn't open to me after killing that Beastwoman. Some googling told me that she's supposed to open them but if that's the case, please Fail the quest to gather the Chronicle parts, or make it possible to open this door. Thanks.

The Chronicle is in the right corner of the south-west room (Abyss). There is nothing quest-related in the north-east room, only the teleport to the last mural (required for the quest, where you are supposed to convince Reef-Talon to return to the Wound).
