Doomsday version 1.1 = ver ? HOI2

I'm back on this forum after a lengthy hiatus. Retired from my job, moved 4000 miles from Canada's west coast to east coast. But, ever faithful to HOI2, as soon as I found an EB store with a copy of Doomsday, I grabbed it. One question: Doomsday, as it comes out of the box---is it equivalent to a certain version of the old HOI2? I guess, put another way---does Doomsday incorporate most/all of the enhancements that were made to HOI2?

I see there is a version 1.1 for Doomsday now, which is speedy work---thanks Johan!

it incorporates most enhancements, but opinions in this forum vary about some gameplay changes made, compared to HOI2 1.3

yes and no, it does have alot of 1.3 updates, BUT very different in experince for leaders, new intellegence, tech trees cvl, good deffence platforms against air and subs .. I have been playing the 36 Jap in DD after playing the HSR mod... both lots of fun. I was surprised at how good the ia was at hitting me where I was weak.
