If Doomsday is a "Must Have", it seems Fry's Electronics is your best bet. For example, the one in Manhattan Beach, California, had about 20 copies on the shelf yesterday. If this is an example, just look up where your local one is, assuming you are in the US.

Actually, the game is available almost everywhere here in Canada. I got mine Monday. How come the game, developped in Europe, is not available everywhere over there??! Want me to ship you a copy to you, pour resident of the Old Continent waiting anxiously for the release of DD?! :rofl:
that would be a problem because I live in a country that is named belgium and i alreayd have a trhead sayin this but none of the hoi series are availble or even KNOWN at ALL this could be a problem

I find it odd that Doomsday hasn't shipped to most of the US yet. Living in Massachusetts, the local EB games had two copies of Doomsday on Monday. (Well, one copy now.. ).
Though if getting a hard copy of the game is a must, ordering online seems to the the best choice. Perhaps the shipping cost is a bit more, but it sure does eliminate a good deal of hassle, doesn't it?

I live near around 6 video game specialty stores (Gamestops, Ebs, etc.)...and all of them seriously only reserve 1 measly shelf for PC games. Even damn anime/cartoon crap get more shelf space than PC in these game stores! :rofl:

Yep, it is so true. It is the most intelligent marketing scheme developers can use, especially smaller ones like Paradox.
Being able to buy the game online will garner them so many more impulse buys.
This week alone I caved to my impulse and bought Galciv2 AND Highway to the Reich. I've hardly played either but that doesnt matter IMO I will eventually ;p
Normally however, I rarely ever cave to an impulse. If I have the urge to pick something up, I just convince myself to not get in the car and drive to the local EB, then the urge passes and I save myself 50 bones ;p
