Hi everyone.
Several of my friends who I play HoI2 with an I just got Doomsday. Prior to installing it, we were able to play HoI2 multiplayer fine, after an original problem with ports and what-not that was cleared up. We have been playing multiplayer HoI2 for awhile now and it would seem that after installing Doomsday we are getting the same problems we used to have and cannot find the host game in Doomsday. The weird thing is that the problem has come back to vanilla HoI2 also. So it would seem that installing Doomsday had some sort of effect since it has been the only action taken by us on our computers that would be able to effect the game in anyway.
A follow up question... we discovered the Hamachi program that sets up a virtual LAN. Could someone who uses that to play explain what exactly needs to be done? Because past setting up a channel and having my friends join it, I'm sort of lost.
