Probably because they don't want to say Y when it will end up as X because/incase Y-X don't send in there NDA's
Though I highly doubt they wouldn't have a list somewhere
Why would you have to count anything yourself? If its literally a list of names and nothing else, even MS Word can just count the lines?

But you are being a pain, you want me to go to the beta list and fire up the word count, count the lines that aren't actually names do a bit of arthimitic and all for the sake of a stat that isn't that important. We have enough at the moment and if we need more we will go back thoguh the list of applicants.

Had you just said it would be more work than that, because it isn't a .csv database or whatever, I would have left it.

Meh, if it hasn't arrived by monday I'll be driving my NDA to Stockholm myself. It's just a 16 hour drive, about the time I spend in trafficjams a week.
Hmm, no word from King yet, so I guess I'll have to send the NDA again and shoot my pidgeons.
If you got the original acceptance, sent in your NDA, and haven't heard anything new, then I belive you are ok. King says he sent a reminder mail to anyone accepted, but hasn't returned thier signed NDA. So I think you should be good. I'll guess that once they have all thier NDA's in, then they will ship you more info.
