Having looked at *SOMETHING* I have full confidence in Paradox's commitment not to release an over-due buggy mess of a game that fanbois insist is ready for release when it is still a year or more from completion, like HOI3 and *SOMETHING* were.
HoI3 wasn't very good on release, I know: I bought it. Some people still enjoyed it, and that's fine for them, but we can't say HoI3 was a good release.
In your opinion it wasn't. That's something totally different.
ThisI just hope that HOIV will not end as a beta hell like EU4 is now, after an initially relatively clean release. Every patch goes back and forth with game mechanics and most of the change are untested, and the game is a mess.
And what you got that isn´t your personal opinion only, dude. Or are you The One True Human, and thus your opinion is automatically better?
I´ve played CK 2 since 1.0. Did you? How about loading the 1.0 demo for CK 2 and look how it Works? Combat was crap, tons of stuff was imbalanced. Just because it didn´t crash every 5 minutes doesn´t mean it was fine. For me the definition of playable is something I will play for many hours, instead of 2 and shelving it, and wait for a patch because it´s full of issues. Was it better than HOI 3 1.0? Yes, but that´s because even roadkill possum was better than HOI 3 1.0.
