Back in other AoW, each time you clicked the unit detail, you had a small text talking about the lore of said unit, with they always were great/fun to read, please dont forget that small feature in AoW IV

It's already been said that that won't be in the game as units can be modified too much and there'd be too many combinations to handle.

It's a bit of a shame they can't do some sort of generic generated stuff at least ("if unit == orcish: blabla green blabla elseif ...") or whatever but I guess it is what it is.

But in Planetfall you could modify units quite a lot too! :(

Its a real shame, it added a lot of flavor

Yeah, but like... races don't really seem to exist in 4 as they have before. There's a form factor and two possible traits and then the culture that has the base type(High, Feudal, etc) and then apparently 2ish culture traits, so, we don't actually know how many form traits and how many culture traits there will be on launch, but from the stream I think it's fair to say "10ish on average"... So that's what, 10 to the 10th to the 10th to the 10th to the 10th to the 10th or something? Combinatorial's get real big real fast. I don't think it's remotely fair to ask them to write literally 10's of thousands of different blurbs.

In aow1 in addition of unit description you get the race description during the campaign.
They should just put some countries in the game with a specific form/culture/society/tome and put the lore description there in the campaign briefing.
