Does upgrading to Mountain Lion OS fix Mac Graphics Issue?

My brother has a 2010 MBP with a core 2 duo/Nvidia 320m/4gb ram, so it should run the game taking minimum requirements into account. The game itself runs smoothly but, all 3d models/sprites (towns, models, etc) are black and flickering, making the game extremely annoying to look and play. The exact same thing happens when he tries to run Eu4.

My brother is using Snow Leopard (10.6.8) as his OS X, I think. I've heard that mountain lion has hugely upgraded graphic driver support. Does upgrading from an older OS to Mountain Lion fix these graphical issues for the Mac?

I upgraded and it was a large difference, but far from the perfect, never crashing, CK2 experience on a mac that you're hoping for.

It should fix the lion's share (ha!) of them, yes. That said the 320m is the lowest video card the game supports, so he may need to reduce graphic complexity by editing settings.txt .
