And look to my registration lists - I did pay money for that CRAP game on two occasions. Just for my interest in PI I don't ask for a refund, because we have enough reasons to ask our money back.
Victoria and diplomacy are something to forget asap. Take a new paper and start from scratch !

Different things for different people - its obvious not everyone and their dog hated Vicky utterly and completely, many of the things they tried to do in Vicky were very good ideas, its just a shame not everyone else thinks soSpruce said:
If I were to complain about something in Victoria, it would be the clumsy and non-intuitive interface. Half, no three-quarters of the battle in the learning curve is trying to figure out how to do something in the game. People, including myself, can play the game for years and have an absolute ball playing it, only to suddenly discover that there is a much easier way of doing something, or that there is something that they can do that they just did not know as even an option.
The game is a wonderful piece of art. The interface sucks dirty dishwater.

I can only hope that there will one day be a Victoria 2. Hopefully by 2010 but most likely not before 2011. Come on, Victoria is the best Paradox game yet, you can do nearly anything. In a new Victoria game one should have the option of creating their own political party and use propaganda and successful policies to stay in power, and if the party loses the player would still be playing but the AI would be making major decisions while the player has some say (such as seats in a parliament or senate) but for 4 years the other party would have the major say in things while the player drums up support with various means and the player could also be able to get his party to stage a coup against the other party and form some sort of dictatorship. I am not sure if this would be Victoria 2, but it would be an epic game.
I want a Vicky Game. It needs to be improved at certain aspects... but once its out I'll be first in line at the store.
*Also when they do it ... please extend the game from 1810 / 1811 ... so we Can play The United States through The War of 1812 thanks!

There won't be another Vicky game. It is likely that after HOI3 PI will try something new and then on 2011-12 they'll announce EUIV.
I love the game but I don't think it does have enough appeal to have a sequel.
Well, it could just not come very soon, maybe on 2019 to celebrate the bicentenary of Vicky birthdate

Even for all its flaws, Ricky is, in my opinion, one of the best games ever made. It's like running a nation building simulation: set parameters, run simulation, watch results, review outcome, go back and set new parameters etc. Wonderful!

Since being based in the same time period and since probably being broadly comparable, I find it unlikely that Paradox will launch Vicky 2 at the same time. All the more so since Ageod and Paradox are in some way (which??) connected, at least they both on Gamersgate, which is owned by Paradox (isn't it?).

I think Vicky can be successful, paradox just needed to work out the kinks, and that is always what the first game in the series does

I don't think there will be a Vicky 2 but perhaps another game set in the Victorian period that's more appealing to a larger amount of people, so throw out the micromanagements of Vicky and make it more HoI and EU-esque?
