Perhaps the "diplomatic influence" message should not be displayed to other players in MP other than the one doing the influencing. At least there should be an option to switch it off. Minor issue, but should make diplomacy a bit more interesting in MP, especially when historically neutral but strategic nations - like Spain and Turkey - are involved.

Nice idea. Not sure you would have total secrecy though, but maybe imperfect information.

But it would spice up the diplomatic wars in MP.
