Does the AI use nukes?

Title says it all. I was just curious if the USA and the USSR were gonna turn each other into atomic parking lots after the cold war heated up. The only reason I want to know is because The allies(I'm Canada) are only ahead by 10-15 VP's and I wanted the USA to make some breating room by Nuking Moscow when war broke out, thanks.

They use them if they can, but I don't know if they know how to research them.

I think so, They have given me SOME blueprints, so I think they researched and then stopped. If thats the case what should I do?

Just wondering, do you plan to make it possible or is it a waste of resources for the AI.

I think it would be great if the DAIM AI used nukes, Getting nukes as Canada is quite a chore!

I don't know if and when the next version will come out, but the major AIs would research nukes then.
